Beneficiaries of December 2021


 Dear Care Foundation Members, we have reached the following people in December 2021. 

  • Kumari Jasmin Jena, a fatherless 11-year old girl suffering from Thalassemia was given Rs 1,000
  • Shri Santosh Sethi, a middle-aged man suffering from partial paralysis who is the only bread-earner for the whole family was given Rs 1,000
  • Shrimati Nibedita Mishra, a woman in her 30's who has lost both her kidneys and is undergoing treatment for kidney transplantation was given Rs 20,000
  • Shri Panchanan Panda, a poor middle-aged man whose spinal cord was operated, but got an infection and was re-operated was given Rs 5,000 in two phases
  • Lastly, Rs 2,000 was paid to Radhamadhab Pardhan towards the 3rd installment of Oxygen cylinders

The opening balance was Rs 2,012 and we received Rs 29,000 as per the bank statement. We withdrew Rs 29,000 to pay the beneficiaries and Rs 2,012 was carried forward. 

We paid Shri Panchanan panda in two phases as he was in dire need of money to buy medicines.

The First Meeting

  On the 10th January 2021, a small number of people gathered at Balukeswar Shiva Temple, N. Gopinathpur, Polasara, for a noble cause. Their mission was to help the needy people of society. It sounds simple, but a few people have ever stepped out. They decided to help those people who are deprived of some basic needs.  In this 21st century, it may look like something absurd or uncommon. However, it is true. Even today, a large section of society does not have access to some basic needs like food, clothing, and shelter.  The Care Foundation has just stepped out for those people. It knows that it will be a difficult path, but the members are determined to support them through small contributions.  They named the group "Care Foundation."
